Family and friends of people who have died in England can now participate in the funeral service without leaving home. A webcam service has been launched at a crematorium, intended for grievers who live far away or too ill to attend in person. Many may find this idea ghoulish, but the service has had a positive response from those who have used it so far. A guest needs the family’s approval for a password to access a secure site and it is quite expensive but is cheap when you consider traveling all the way to attend the funeral
from a far off place.
